Don’t be like Alfred.

The simple risk for"Alfred" lies in his age. He won't have enough life expectancy to sit out a 10 years Bear market and then waiting for the catch-up

If Alfred invest half his money now in Bitcoin, he will be worth at least 30 million in four years.

Target 30% compound from equities for 20 years after a small lump sum investment on day one .

Thats what I have done and after 19..5 years its job just about done

Ed Dowd predicts gold and silver will take a wicked deflationary haircut as they did in 2008, only recovering when inflation resumes after a 2-year deflationary period. Can anyone rebut this outlook?

If the PMs drop, stack more physical, it's on sale...

Don't EVER measure their value in worthless fiat currency at any time!

My rule is your age should be your % of net worth in PMs. Don't be like Alfred!

Gordon, seems the price is lifted by central banks and public in Asia buying physical. A tangible asset in a fearsome environment. Implementation of Basel III also matters. Fear of currency as a weapon. Gold flying first class can balance bilateral trade. Weaponization of USD, re. sanctions.

Where else to park wealth when real estate and farmland being taxed like crazy? Investing in huge bubble very risky these days. I would invest in peaceful small&medium nuclear reactors but is there a market in western Europe these days?

I agree. Just hate stocks in general. Bullion is a different ride. But stocks just turn my guts, especially gold. Dow's up 500 points today and gold stocks take a beating. Awful
