Indeed, the story still remains timely today! Especially given the UBS/Credit Suisse merger only two years ago. Oh and Egon, I've still not received my 10oz silver bar from my Canadian bank. I called and asked, "where's my order?"....replied with a "dunno".
Indeed, yet so many are deaf and blind to the giant storm that is about to hit them.
Mr. Von Greyerz and his partners have opened the eyes of only but a few, willing to see the inevitable crash of civilization as we know it. Do stay safe and share the insights of those willing to ring the bell.
This is incredible, and we are looking where to vault our gold and silver. One of the options was the Switzerland. So what you’re saying is if I want to store my gold in Switzerland, I need to own my own bank as well?
The author is definitely exaggerating. Of course, you should do your own research when choosing a bank, but Swiss banks do store the precious metals you buy through them. If you want to physically pick up your gold or move it from one place to another, there are proper security steps in place to make sure everything is handled safely and correctly. I've gone through this process several times and it's always been smooth. So, to borrow the author's own words—these are real, first-hand experiences, not rumors or second-hand stories. Just facts. :)
