Yet another belter from the Von Greyerz stable of heavyweights. Matt mixes it with style

Thank you very much Matthew for sharing your opinion and detailed supporting analysis regarding why you believe that Henrik's assertion of a DXY spike and resulting 40% pullback in gold price may not occur to the extent that Henrik is forecasting.

I watched your discussion with Henrik & Francis, and the unfortunate Starlink problems you encountered that forced you to miss several minutes of that call. I am very glad that you followed up here with your highly detailed report.

I had also examined gold's 20% deflationary pullback (and silver's 50% pullback) during the GFC until Oct 2008, just before QE was announced in Nov 2008. Like Henrik, I was going to wait and try to time my purchase of gold this time around to take advantage of an anticipated replay of 2008, but instead decided to purchase gold and silver in January of this year as I was afraid I would not time the pullback correctly, or that I might miss a surprise U.S. gold revaluation that would send gold prices skyrocketing overnight, just as the FDR gold revaluation did in 1933.

I am grateful that you posted your analysis here Matthew, and after reading it, I feel more confident that I made the right decision to buy now instead of waiting for a dip that may not materialize. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts on this!
