Interesting article Matt. However, no matter which way it turns out it will always be rigged against us. No matter what, it's in their DNA🤷‍♂️

Fiscal Dominance will never be enough to fix the debt issue. We are watching a multi-pronged attack—a throw everything at the wall moment—in an attempt to save the system. Venezuela oil? Part of saving the system. Investment in critical minerals on US soil is again to save the system. There is talk of partnership with Russia to re-open NordStream with US partial ownership (again save the system) and attempts to invest in Russia in the future as well. Of course none of this can happen until Ukraine falls, so we’re no longer really helping them and allowing the dumb Eurocrats to destroy themselves over “saving Ukraine”. Good luck with that.

The current game plan of this administration is most likely to try and control oil long enough to get signed contracts around the world, squeezing Iran and other ME countries (and China as a byproduct). It’s ambitious. Iran hasn’t worked out to well. And our lack of support for the Saudis doesn’t look too good either.

We are at the point where really no one trusts the US anymore. So now gold has eclipsed the USD as the largest reserve asset. I expect that to grow.

I also expect us to continue trying to corner world oil markets on the back of our Venerable “acquisition”. Will it be enough? 🤔
